General safety for heaters - Bullets (general)
- Only use this device for its intended purpose and in the manner set out in this manual.
- Only connect the device to a wall socket. Do not connect it to a junction box, power strip, multi-plug adapter, etc.
- The power plug may become lukewarm during use; if it becomes hot, unplug the device and contact an electrician.
- The connection voltage and frequency of the device should correspond with the voltage and frequency of the socket that you are using. The electrical installation should be protected using a 30mA residual-current circuit breaker.
- To avoid overload or fuse failure, avoid using other equipment with the same socket or electrical group as your device if it is >2500W (see identification label).
- The socket should be easily accessible at all times so that the device may easily be unplugged in case of emergency.
- Completely unwind the electric cable of the device before inserting the plug into the socket and ensure that the cable does not touch the hot parts of the device anywhere or can become hot in another manner. Do not put the electric cable under carpets, mats, runners, etc. and keep the cable out of the walkway. Make sure that no one steps on it and that furniture is not put onto it. Do not lead the cable around sharp corners and do not wind it too tightly after using it! Prevent the cable from making contact with oil, solvents, and sharp objects. Regularly check the cable for damage. Do not twist or bend the electric cable or wind it around the device; these things can damage the insulation!
- Turn off the device using the (main) switch; do not unplug the device while it is running.
- Do not pull the power cable to move or unplug the device.
- Never insert fingers or other objects into the openings of the device.
