Aircoolers
An air cooler is an affordable alternative to an air conditioner, and can provide fine cooling. Fill the water tank with water, possibly with ice cubes in it, and the air cooler evaporates this into cool air and blows it into the room. Nice and refreshing!
Aircoolers
Air coolers are often confused with air conditioners. However, there is quite a difference between air conditioners and air coolers.
An air conditioner extracts warm air from the room, dehumidifying the air a little in the process. This is because, by default, warm air contains more moisture than cold air. An air cooler, on the other hand, cools the room by evaporating cold water and blowing it into the room. This also increases the humidity in the room, perfect when you suffer from dry air in your home. Besides, air coolers are just a little less effective than air conditioners, but they will still get your room nice and cool in summer!
Air coolers work by evaporating cold water and distributing this cool vapour throughout the room. This water vapour is not dangerous to health.
However, it is important to keep the air cooler clean. When water stands still for a long time, bacteria can grow in it. So change the water regularly, especially on hot days.
