Fans
A fan is great in summer to create just a cool breeze. Or to extend the reach of your air conditioner by blowing cold air further into the room. But which one should you choose? Generally speaking, the larger the diameter of the fan, the more air it will move.
Fans
The bigger the fan model is, the more wind it can produce. But, a small fan on your desk can be just as nice as a large, standing fan a little further away. So which type is best depends on how you plan to use it. Maybe you want a fan you can easily take with you to the campsite, for example. Then a battery-powered fan might be for you.
One functionality that can be very nice is if the fan can swivel: then the fresh wind gets to many more places than when the fan is stationary.
A tower fan has the advantage of being somewhat quieter. This is because it does not have large blades pushing the air. A ceiling fan is perhaps the quietest, and will move the air best thanks to its large blades.
