In convection, the electric heater heats the air. The warm air rises and pushes cold air down. This cold air is reheated, and so the air circulates through the room. In the end, the whole room is wonderfully warm, just like the central heating. But powered by electricity.

If the heat is the same as the central heating, why choose an electric convector heater? There are many reasons to make the switch to electric. Perhaps the most important is that with an electric heater, 100% of the energy you use is converted into heat. With central heating, the hot water has to go through all the pipes before it reaches the heater. A lot of heat is already lost in those pipes, which is a waste! With an electric heater, all the heat generated reaches the room where the heater is located.

Thereby, in electric convector heaters, there are models that have remote control, or perhaps Wi-Fi control. This makes operation even easier.

Moreover, you can easily pick up an electric heater and heat another room. One heater can thus be used in several ways.
